Musselman Library is buzzing with the noise of drills and saws this week.  What’s going on?

On the main floor, watch for an exciting development related to this new plumbing: Hmmm, what do you think this could be?  I’m not telling, but you’re going to LOVE it!

And outside the main entrance, you’ve been dealing with hazards like these for years (due to failing mortar): Which means that now it’s time for something more extreme, like this: The mortar and concrete are being repaired and the steps will be rebricked.  Hopefully this project will be done in time for spring sunshine, when everyone wants to hang out on the library patio to study (or not).

We’re sorry about the noise, but both projects will make your time spent at Musselman Library much better.  Please ask if you have further questions!

Text a Call Number

Found the perfect book for your research? You could grab a golf pencil and a scrap of paper; but, why not just text the call number to your cell phone? Simply click on the Text the Call Number button in MUSCAT and enter the 10 digits of the cell number (no hyphens or spaces) to send the location, call number and title of the item to your cell phone. Carrier charges may apply. The box also offers an option to send the info via email to your gettysburg.edu account.

New Improved Group Study Rooms!

Come enjoy the newly renovated group study rooms on the ground floor of Musselman Library!  Room 005 contains 4 comfy green chairs with tablet arms; rooms 003 and 004 have round tables with 4 chairs.All rooms also include flat panel screens for DVD viewing or laptop hook-up, white boards, dry erase markers, and eraser. 

Rooms 003 and 004 are reserveable!  Groups may reserve the space for up to 4 hours at a time using the sign-up sheet located on the wall outside the room. New sign-up sheets are made available on Sundays so you can sign up for times throughout the coming week.
