It's finals week! For many of you the library becomes a second home as you buckle down to study for exams and finish up your papers. And we're ready for you! The library will be open 24 hours until 5:00pm on Saturday, 12/17.
Finals week also means CUPCAKES! Don't forget to come to the study break tonight, 8 - 10pm in Room 018. Enjoy a break from the books with some cupcakes, crafts and games.
Need to talk to a librarian? The hours for the reference desk this week are:
Monday, 12/12: 9:00am - 5:00pm & 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Tuesday, 12/13: 9:00am - 5:00pm & 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Wednesday, 12/14: 9:00am - 5:00pm & 6:00pm - 10:00pm
The reference desk will close for the break Wednesday night, but you can still get help from a librarian! Stop by the reference office, Room 102 on the main floor of the library, e-mail us at reflib@gettysburg.edu, or ask at the circulation desk to talk to a librarian. We're here to help!
Also, if the library during finals week is too full to suit your study style, why not try one of these places:
- Breidenbaugh Hall- open 24 hours
- Schmucker Hall - open 24 hours
- Science Center - open 24 hours
- Glatfelter Hall - open 24 hours (3 computer labs- rooms 201, 203, 204)
- McCreary Hall - open until 11pm (1 computer lab- room 204)
- CUB- M-F open until 2am; Saturday until 8pm
