Get Research Help!

It’s that time of year when paper deadlines are looming, and those dreaded citations need to be completed. If you are feeling overwhelmed with your research needs, feel free to talk to a librarian.

You can stop by the reference desk during business hours on weekdays or between 6 and 10pm Sunday through Thursday nights for face-to-face research help.

If you don’t want to leave the comfort of your own room, use one of the chat boxes on the library webpages to talk with a librarian, or send a text to 66746 and begin your message with musslib.

For a more in-depth interaction, you can schedule a research appointment. Fill out the form online describing your research topic and provide times you are available to meet, and a librarian will make a one-on-one appointment with you. Now that’s service!

Remember, if you have any questions, just

Welcome back!

Welcome back!

As you get back into the "studying groove," don't forget to check out the newest edition to the library home page. The second tab on the search box is now Discovery, a place to search a large chunk of Musselman Library in one place! It searches MUSCAT, as well as thousands of articles and reviews that are also included in many of our databases.
If you need help using this or any of our other databases for your research, please stop by the Reference Desk and a librarian will be happy to help you!

Happy Studying!

Have a safe and relaxing Spring Break!

Vote with your Seat!

Have you noticed some new furniture around the library? We're trying out new styles for future library nooks and crannies. Let us know what you think!

Take a seat and then stop by the display near the Reference Desk to give us your opinion on these new chairs. Don't worry about the colors -- the chairs we have are samples. But, if you have suggestions for colors, please include that information in your feedback.

Your opinion matters. Thanks for your comments!

Middle East at Musselman

This week is Middle Eastern Culture Week here at Gettysburg College!  Every year, the International Club organizes a week of cultural activities centered around one spot on our globe.  The Library is always eager to help out in any way we can.  This year, we are hosting an exhibit of photographs created by our students and faculty.  I’m sharing a few here, but you can view them all online, as well.
