Text a Librarian

Have a library or research question? Send a text message to (717) 473-4532. You will get a response from a live librarian in minutes - provided that you ask your question when the reference desk is open (Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm and 6-10pm; Friday 9am - 3pm; Sunday 6-10pm). If you send a message when a librarian is not on duty, you'll get a response the next time a librarian returns to the desk.

Standard text message and data rates may apply.

Please note: this phone number can only receive text messages, not voice calls.

Borrow an iPad at Circulation

Have you been thinking about how an iPad would work for you? Would you use it as an ereader, to make notes on PDFs, or to just watch Netflix and check your email? We invite you to try out the iPad available at Musselman Library's Circulation Desk and see how it works for you.

The library currently has an iPad2 available to students, faculty, and staff. It comes pre-loaded with a selection of apps for school, work, and entertainment. When you're using it, feel free to add apps or link it to your accounts. When you return it, it'll be wiped clean of your personal information and any apps or data that you've added.

The iPad will circulate for 3 hours for use in Musselman Library during the hours of 8 am - 11 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am - 4 pm on Friday. See the iPad Borrowing Agreement for more information.

Cite it!

Citation and proper attribution of sources rest at the core of academic research, but learning a new citation style or citing an unusual source can be tricky.

Musselman Library is here to help! We have guides to the major citation styles, which are available in print at the Reference Desk and through several online guides.

Interested in managing citations online? Resources such as RefWorks and Zotero, can help you gather, manage, cite, and share all of your citations from one place.

See our online citation guide for links to these and other helpful citation resources, or ask a librarian for help with your citation questions.
