Don’t miss the Visualizing War exhibit in the Schmucker Art Gallery, August 29 - September 2, 2012!

Curated by Civil War Institute Fellows Natalie Sherif, Alexandra Ward and Andrew Egbert, this exhibition examines perceptions of the American Civil War in the North and the evolution of its political, social, and militaristic visual representations through a wide range of objects including maps, lithographs, stereo views, and sheet music from Special Collections here in Musselman Library!

There will be a Gallery Talk with Student Curator Andrew Egbert: Thursday, September 20, 2012, 12 pm (light lunch provided).

This exhibit is sponsored by the Schmucker Art Gallery and supported in part by Gettysburg College’s Civil War Institute and the Sesquicentennial Planning Committee for the Commemoration of the American Civil War. Where will you vote in November?

It’s time to start thinking about whether you will vote here in Gettysburg or in your home district.  If you want to vote here, you must REGISTER to vote here, and the deadline is October 9, 2012.  If you want to vote in your home district, you should arrange to vote absentee (unless you’re planning to travel there to vote in person).

Lots of information about voter registration and the upcoming election can be found on the Election 2012 library guide!
