|Stephanie Bowen, current Holley Intern,|
planned a finals study break complete
with cupcake decorating!
Are you a graduating senior interested in a career in library and information studies? If so, you're in luck!
Musselman Library is again searching for a motivated and responsible candidate for our full-time, one-year paid internship (with benefits!). The internship is intended for a recent college graduate (or one who will graduate this spring) interested in pursuing a career in information science, librarianship, or archives and records management. This position allows the intern to work closely with many departments in the library (Special Collections, Reference, and User Services, just to name a few!), as well as organize student activities like finals break. Previous interns have gone on to complete graduate degrees in library and information studies and are now working as information professionals. This is a great way to gain experience while considering librarianship as a profession!
The full job description and instructions for applying are available on the Library web site at http://www.gettysburg.edu/library/information/general/internships/holley.dot.
Application materials can be submitted through the HR on-line system: https://gettysburg.peopleadmin.com/postings/836. This position will remain open through February 21, 2014.
