Remembering the 25th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall
The German Studies Department has a series of events this week (Nov. 3-9) taking place across campus to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Visit the ground floor of Musselman Library to see the "Berlin Wall" built by German Club members and German Studies faculty. You're invited to write on the wall and share your thoughts. Also feel free to check out one of the books on the the fall of the Berlin wall, graffiti, and life after the wall.
Make sure to join German Club on Sunday (Nov. 9) at 2 pm on the ground floor for a reenactment of the wall's fall on November 8, 1989, including the press statement read to announce the border opening to the actual dismantling of the wall.
