Be our next Holley Intern and discover your calling!

Do you love libraries?  Have you ever considered working in one? If you are a graduating senior interested in a career in library and information studies, we have a great opportunity for you!

Musselman Library is once again looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible candidates for our full-time, one-year paid internship with benefits. The internship is open to recent college graduates (or those graduating in Spring 2015) who are considering a career in information science, general librarianship, or archives and records management.

During the internship, you will cycle through the different departments in the library, including Special Collections, Reference, User Services and Technical Services. By doing so, you may find an area that is a perfect fit for your interest and skills! Additional duties of the internship are organizing student activities such as study breaks; creating book displays; assisting students, faculty and patrons with research questions at the Reference desk; and working with librarians on special projects.

Check out the video below to hear what previous library interns had to say about their Musselman internship experience.

The full job description and instructions for applying are available on the Musselman Library website at http://www.gettysburg.edu/library/information/general/internships/holley.dot.  This position will remain open through February 20, 2015.
